What a day it has been. I knew that the chances of getting activated was quite high but i sure did not think it would really happen. So i got a call at 10 plus when I was napping after breakfast. I was like …are you serious.. Are you playing a prank on me .Anyway , I tried to flag a cab to no avail. So like after 20 minutes, I gave up and called a cab to Hendon . When I reached, I found out I was the second earliest there. I was like ” WTF! So much for all the rush.’

 

Mama mia, here we go again..Gosh, I totally adored the show. Personally, I found this so much better than Hairspray. The songs were fantastic as I always liked ABBA. K, perhaps it was a tad cheesy, but nonetheless, I enjoyed the show. I really what to got o Greece if I ever have the chance. Its so relaxing, away from the hassle and bustle of city life.I am having the ABBA fever, who wants to join in . LOL

 

My last teen years

hey hey!!My last teen years have come. Next year I will be 20 goodness…So it started with a impromptu birthday surprise by glenn, ct and darren on Wed ..Thks for the gift..Fri was spent with family @ Olive Tree. It is one of the worst buffet I have eaten. The seafood buffet which was suppose to be the highlight of the day was disappointing. It was so limited . Today met up with Khai where we lunched at Cafe Cova @ Paragon..We ate some cakes and quiche. Thank for the lovely gift khai…sry no photos taken..thks for all the well wishes and gifts . They were splendid..you folks mean a lot to me..

Welcome BABA and BIBI !!

Its been some time since I just blogged. Nothing much has happened. Well, last Sat I went to the Peranakan Museum with Khai. Wanted to do something different besides shopping or beaching . Moreover, its freaking cheap , 2 bucks. Well it was back to my roots and it was so exciting to see all the paraphernalia and memobelia of the donors . Anyway , I got offered a place in NTU Mechanical Engineering and got invited for a Hi -tea session @ Meritus Mandarin…Thinking if I should go , feeling so lazy..This is not my ideal course,I am still waiting for my letter from NUS..pls give me Science!!

When Will This Long Wait End?

The anticipation for Uni offer is way worse than that of the actual results. Why is it taking so long? Some of my friends have already gotten theirs ie. NTU biz, accounts, fass. BTW went for my interview for NTU MAE. I sure did not expect so many interviewees.40++ . So mine was 3pm which I was late as I went to the wrong building . So overall, I felt that it went quite bad . There were 2 interviewers . The female Prof really grilled me. Not pinning too much hope onthat since I am not really interested in that course. Anyway, met my neighbour (pri skl mate ) there .What a coincidence. What I am really hoping for is NUS Science so I can read Quant Finance. Please pls fulfill my wish. Keeping fingers crossed. Please Let me see any UNI offer uin my mailbox.!!!

Back to Army life. Counting down my days till I ORD .19 mths more ah…

 

Cohesion Day

Such a boring title but I just can’t think of a title which is more apt. Anyway started the day with the ususal jog followed by a frisbe game with the rest of the regulars. It was an enjoyable game where some showcased their ” competitive edge”. After that ,we headed to Nihon-mura for lunch. It was a treat by the regulars to show their appreciation for the hard work we had for the past year. When it comes to food, SOTC is undoubtedly the champions. We sure can eat. LOL. Overall food was fine . With a full stomach, we made our way to Bottleneck Park for our paintball session. This was so called the highlight of the day and everyone showed no mercy at the battleground . It was all in good fun rite. Anyway CO and Mm joined in too.Nobody dared to fire at them coz it will be tatamount to 7 extra duties . I’m surre they were joking right. Good effort though. Raven 2 Dinner at Sakura

Wow, it has been such a long time since I met up with Raven 2 . It was so nostalgic and really enjoyed it . Serg Leong ,Serg Faiza, Sir Luqman came too. Food was great and the company made it so special. It was so odd to address our commanders by their name so we sticked to Serg and Sirs . lol. Chit Chat alot. Quite a number of my Platoon got posted to Sispec. Auggy, Kian Long and Shafiq got OCS. Congrats to all . To those who are unsatisfied with their posting, we’ll just have to move on.Serg Leong talked about some of the stuff we did during BMT all the punishments and some of the more ” outstanding ” platoon mates. It was hilarious. Although I did not complete my BMT , I do agree that BMT is truely the most FUN time of our lives. Cya mates do keep in contact!!

 

Ultra Mini Gathering

tue went up with some of the duds from S13 for a mini gathering . Sad to say attendence was bad. Nevertheless, we made good use of the company.Settled for Ajisen at Plaza Sing.I swear I will never step my foot into that restaurant ever again. Firstly , service was atrocious.It was so hard to call for a waiter. Secondly , the food SUX. It was so salty that I feel thirsty the entire night.My friend said its because I ordered miso based but I tasted miso based soup and its not so salty. The cashier too was rude. Overall, 1/5.

Next went to watch Step UP II at Cathay. The female lead was spanking hot. At first I felt she was kind of tom -boyish.But hey gals do look good in sweats too. Dance was nice comparable to that of the first if not better. It was pretty funny but the overall plot was overused was not impressed apart from the dance grooves.

Overall , it deserved 3/5 pop corns.
